Mr. E Boat

Some interior views. Not much going on yet. Just sealing.

The boat now has a pierced nose for its "nose ring". The bow has been sculpted and the top side molded in. It is starting to look pretty good up front. 

The top surfaces have all been sealed with epoxy and primed. Next fairing will be in order. 

These are views of the floor and rear of the boat as of June 2020. All has been epoxied in and sealed. The 1/4 aluminum motor mount plate has been epoxied and screwed in with stainless hardware ready for any outboard you can hang on it. The electric jack plate is next to be installed. 

I'm blue. Just like the 1957 Chevy Larkspur Blue dot on this paint can. This is the color that was selected to compliment this classic beauty. Sadly CV19 has made me blue too. Not much able to do as the rest of the world turns blue too. Hopefully life will return better than we knew it and we will no longer be blue.

Here are the glove boxes that will go on the driver and passenger side console bulkhead mounts. They are made for stainless serving trays commonly used by caterers. They had to be cut to fit the edges with a fiber cutting wheel and finish sanded. Hinges were mounted through the pan into wood reinforcements to which the plastic cutting board lid is mounted. Rubber gaskets will surround the perimeter for a water tight seal.

Here is the hydraulic steering helm being positioned slightly left of center in the upside down console shown earlier. This will allow more elbow room and throttle handle access. The white top panel is a plastic cutting board on hinges to cover what will be the glove box.
