Fueling Into Place

Image
Here are some photos of the rear. A new composite 37 gallon tank sized just right to fit under the rear bench seat. The rear seat will have removable cushions and will lift up for rear access. Now we aren't just fueling around?

Shut The Front Door

Image
I made the doors for the cabin and the head from oak. Drilled/pegged joints with epoxy seems to be very strong. Lots of sanding, clearing with epoxy and burnishing the finish for a dull sheen. The cabin door has an opening for a sliding aluminum vintage window and the bottom has a trap door that pops open to allow a small 5000 BTU window air conditioner to cool the cabin. When the a/c is not needed the trap door is latched closed and it is left home. Isn't it aDOORable?

Transom Transformation

Here are a few photos of the work being done to the transom. It is now glassed in and taking shape. When completed it should be able to hold whatever outboard motor is out there. My choice is probably the new 150 hp Evinrude 3 cyl 2 stroke.
